Godavari surges at Dhavaleswaram
Andhra Pradesh: Godavari is flowing heavily due to the rains in the upper reaches and the flood from the tributaries. The water level at Dhavaleswaram has reached 13.60 feet. With this, the authorities have issued a second danger warning. 12.61 lakh cusecs of water is being released from the barrage into the sea. Lanka villages in both Godavari districts are trapped in waterlogging due to the violent appearance of Godavari.
