Doctor who asked for bribe dismissed from duty
Andhra Pradesh: Minister Satyakumar Yadav has ordered the removal of a doctor who had asked the father of his mentally disabled daughter to bribe him for a medical certificate. The doctor at Kadapa GGH had demanded ₹10,000 in April. He refused to pay ₹7,000 even after being offered. He had set a deadline of two days for the payment. The complaint was found to be true in the ACB investigation. The minister has ordered his removal from service.
