Election notification in the morning, stay in the evening
The local election process in Telangana has come to a halt. After a year of waiting for the elections, the Election Commission has finally given the schedule after much confusion and controversy. The High Court has given a two-day stay on the challenge to the 42% reservation given to BCs in these elections. As a result, the first phase notification, which came at 10:30 this morning, became meaningless at 4 pm.
