Killing and eating wild boars should be allowed: Kerala Minister
Kerala Agriculture Minister Prasad said that the crop fields are being destroyed due to the menace of wild boars. He opined at an event held in Alappuzha that the problem could be reduced if they were allowed to be killed and eaten. However, he reminded that the current law does not allow it. He said that wild boars are not an endangered species. Hunting of wild animals is illegal under the Wildlife Protection Act-1972.
